Fashion: The Floral Summer Dress From Krisp Clothing

Image
The summer is here and with it come long hot days at the beach and warm Barbecue nights. It’s truly the time of creating unforgettable moments from lavish weddings to summer birthday parties, prom and of course the races at Royal Ascot. Usually for all these occasions you’ll spend ages looking for THE perfect dress, when really, there’s one which will fit perfectly for all of these events, making sure you’ll always look fabulous: the Blooming Rose Skater Dress from Krisp Clothing. The dress has been living in my wardrobe for a while now and it took me a lot of patience and self-discipline to not share the excitement for it straight away. I wanted to check first if the dress really was an all-rounder. So I wore it not only for a meal out with my parents, teamed up with a chic grey buttoned up jacket from H&M, but also strolled around Malmö whilst on holidays. Krisp Clothing is an online retailer with a very purse-friendly fashion collection: you’ll find anything from celebrity-ins...

Fashion: City Break Copenhagen

Image
When you're on a city break exploring town centres and wandering around streets all day, you want your outfit to be casual. Depending on the weather most of us also make sure that our outfit is practical  - and since we are on a holiday - stylish. When I relaxed in Copenhagen a few weekends ago, I decided that my recently bought Oasis Anchor Blouse and khaki green Zara trousers make a perfect match for an all day out. Let me tell you all about the style! You may have seen my Oasis Anchor Blouse in my Daydreaming in Kensington post and it has been an absolute favourite of mine ever since. The piece has a super flattering cut and the print of anchors all over is so cute. The blouse is not only ideal for the office, but versatile and easy to style which makes it a great fashion piece to wear with literally anything. The material is light and airy for the summer, and in winter I can see it peaking under a jumper. For a summery day out in Copenhagen, I decided to combine the blouse wit...

Fashion: Daydreaming

Seriously, has it really been nearly three weeks since my last post?!? I mean where has the time gone and also, my sincere apologies for posting so unregularly....but really I can't believe that! It's not even that so much has been happening in my life. You know, it's literally all eat, sleep, work, repeat. Back in the dearly-missed uni days, three weeks would have gone equally fast but with a lot more exciting events happening and also I would have never thought, how draining a 9-5:30pm office day can be. *starts daydreaming* A little while ago, my friend Serene and I met up for a weekend catch up which we spent in the Kensington area. Especially around Portobello Road Market/corner Holland Park there are some beautiful (and highly instagrammable) roads and lanes which are ideal for outfit shoots. Having seen so many bloggers shooting in stunning, posh neighbourhoods such as these, I was intrigued to find out if this was just another overhyped phenomenon or if these urban ...

Fashion: Undressed - A Brief History Of Underwear. My Visit.

Image
The V&A in London is always worth a visit, and after seeing the amazing Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty exhibition and Louis Vuitton’s Series 3 on the Strand last year, I was ready for another fashion related exhibition. Last weekend, a new seasonal exhibition opened at the V&A museum called “Undressed – A brief History of Underwear”. Though I’m not too bothered about lingerie, I was intrigued how the museum and its curators would display and showcase the historic development of undergarments. Tickets were booked in an instant, so I invited my friend Mille from Pass For Fass to come along and join me for a Saturday afternoon in South Kensington. I apologise in advance for the quality of the pictures. Since the V&A prohibits photography and wouldn’t reply to my enquiry to get press pictures for this blog post, my iPhone 6 had to do the job. The Exhibition: What You'll See The exhibition is located in a separate part, right in the heart of the V&A and runs until 201...
