Fashion: The Floral Summer Dress From Krisp Clothing
The summer is here and with it come long hot days at the beach and warm Barbecue nights. It’s truly the time of creating unforgettable moments from lavish weddings to summer birthday parties, prom and of course the races at Royal Ascot.
Usually for all these occasions you’ll spend ages looking for THE perfect dress, when really, there’s one which will fit perfectly for all of these events, making sure you’ll always look fabulous: the Blooming Rose Skater Dress from Krisp Clothing.
The dress has been living in my wardrobe for a while now and it took me a lot of patience and self-discipline to not share the excitement for it straight away. I wanted to check first if the dress really was an all-rounder. So I wore it not only for a meal out with my parents, teamed up with a chic grey buttoned up jacket from H&M, but also strolled around Malmö whilst on holidays.
Krisp Clothing is an online retailer with a very purse-friendly fashion collection: you’ll find anything from celebrity-inspired styles including beautiful skater dresses or sexy jumpsuits. The brand has been on the market for a while but my attention was only recently drawn to it, when my dear blogging friend El shared her outfits with the dress. I immediately fell in love with the style, the cut and the beautiful print.
Skater dresses can make you look a bit "stout" but the tailoring on this one works ideal for me. The material is of high quality and reminds me a bit of scuba - it is soft and comfortable to wear. It has a light feel to it and falls nicely which you want from a dress when it gets warm/boiling hot in the summer.
The general colouring of black against white and red roses is very classy and elegant. The silver zipper on the back is strong and robust – no awkward “Can you please zip me up” moments anymore!
Style Tip How To Wear A Floral Skater Dress In Summer
Ascot / Summer Wedding:
For the upcoming season of racing and summer weddings, I would style the dress with nude tights and would try to pick up the nude tone in my accessories. In this case I've added my nude coloured Accessorize clutch. My fascinator from Debenhams is subtle, but eye-catching and it works well with the general black tone of the dress. The heels pick up again the colour nude which make the outfit overall harmonious and chic.

Meal Out / Work:
The dress works extremely well with a chic and classy jacket or blazer. Mine from H&M has this super elegant buttoned detail which works perfectly with the dark tone of the dress. The red and white flowers peaking under it make a harmonious contrast. If you're out with friends you can also add a wool fedora. In terms of shoes, I would go with all-time classic black.
