Following my  Gwen Stefani Style Crush  post a while back, I saw this picture of Olivia Palermo and knew immediately that I have a similar outfit in my wardrobe and need to show you my take on her casual street style look. Here it is and I hope you'll enjoy today's post. Let me know what you think. Why Olivia's style works: Well, the art is to look casual and effortless though you've spent ages in your wardrobe putting the outfit together. The pieces individually may look a bit boring but in composition together they create an interesting look. Gold accessories and bright colours are the season's trend, therefore Olivia's style is very chic and suitable for daytime or casual after work drinks. The golden accessories are simple, but effective and the entire look doesn't need a necklace or earrings which I really like. Happy Easter to you all and I'm sorry Thursday's post had to move to today. A cold struck me down for a few days but I'm fine now and hope everyone enjoys the holidays. The Blue Vanilla dress* (via EtailPR) was sent to me a while ago and when I first wore it, it didn't suit me at all. It literally had no tailoring and though it's a small size, it would hang like a linen sack from my shoulders (should have taken pictures, but forgotten to do so) - not very flattering! I brought it to the dress maker and she was able to fix it. She fitted the dress to my measurements and tailored it nicely. It is still a bit casual but has a lovely shape now. Last Thursday I made my way over to Bristol's Fashion Week SS15 show at the Mall Cribbs Causeway to see what's hot and not this season. Excited after last years  Bristol Fashion Week AW 14 , I couldn't wait to return to the fashion theater and came hungry for more on trend styles. This time, lovely Charlotte ( A Fashion Oddity ) joined me for the show. This is a picture heavy post, so please sit back and enjoy Bristol Fashion Week :) I picked up Charlotte from the station shortly after 11am and we were running a bit late. So we made our way over to the mall ASAP and there were already long queues outside the fashion theater when we arrived. In the foyer, we picked up some drinks and found some great seats by the runway, which worked out well in the end. My friend Thursa lives in the beautiful Cotswolds and we went for lunch yesterday. It was a misty and very autumnal day, perfect to shoot a few pictures for an #ootd post. Hope you'll enjoy. Summer has officially ended and to say good-bye to the season, I'd like to share my last summery OOTD for this year. Earlier this month I went to see my lovely friend Thursa in Weston Super-Mare. We went for lunch first and afterwards to the beach (Sand Bay beach). The weather was gorgeous and the beach filled with walkers and cute dogs. Money will literally become our main fashion companion in 2014. As seen in Madame magazine recently,  Dolce & Gabbana  are bringing back Greek style this season and invision coins as THE fashion accessory of 2014. Coins will no longer hide in our wallets and pockets but will be worn as hair jewellery, golden arm candy or sparkle as shiny necklaces around our necks. I'm delighted to see that coins as an exclusive luxury item at the designer fashion shows will soon become available to the High Street.
