Following my  Gwen Stefani Style Crush  post a while back, I saw this picture of Olivia Palermo and knew immediately that I have a similar outfit in my wardrobe and need to show you my take on her casual street style look. Here it is and I hope you'll enjoy today's post. Let me know what you think. Why Olivia's style works: Well, the art is to look casual and effortless though you've spent ages in your wardrobe putting the outfit together. The pieces individually may look a bit boring but in composition together they create an interesting look. Gold accessories and bright colours are the season's trend, therefore Olivia's style is very chic and suitable for daytime or casual after work drinks. The golden accessories are simple, but effective and the entire look doesn't need a necklace or earrings which I really like. Summer has officially ended and to say good-bye to the season, I'd like to share my last summery OOTD for this year. Earlier this month I went to see my lovely friend Thursa in Weston Super-Mare. We went for lunch first and afterwards to the beach (Sand Bay beach). The weather was gorgeous and the beach filled with walkers and cute dogs. Thursa brought her little pooch Bear along and we had a wonderful time. Hope you'll enjoy! A very well-known job interview question is ‘Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?’ I find this question difficult to answer; after all I’m not a fortune-teller nor can I predict the future. It is of course important to know where to go, but also where you come from. That’s why I prefer the solid past rather than the unstable and fickle future, so I can learn from it. However, when I went home to Germany last week, I felt like I travelled back into my old life of the past five years. The years between 2009 and today marked a new chapter in my life. I had just come back from my Erasmus year at Lancaster University and had moved to Leipzig in the beautiful county of Saxony. For the next four years and this has been the place where I lived the longest in my life so far, Leipzig became my home.
