Fashion: What's In A Name?

Image
A few weeks ago, one of my favourite brands, Whistle & Bango , reached out and offered me the chance to join their brand ambassador programme. Having been a fan of the London-based jewellery brand since last year, I jumped at the chance. Known for their incredibly high-end quality postcode bangles, the brand is currently working on a lighter version. This impeccable piece of jewellery comes in either cream or mint and has your initals embossed. In times where personalisation plays an imense role and people like to showcase their identities, I wanted to take the opportunity to talk about names and their meanings in today's post. Names - something we all share, but still make everyone of us individual. Next to our quirks, genetics, looks and likes, our name is the most powerful element of identification that make up our personality. Some people love their name, others may change it, such as my blogging friend Olivia who speaks up about name change in her recent post.  However, t...

Fashion: Dainty Or Statement Jewellery? How You Can Rock Them Both!

Dainty or statement, avid readers of my fashion, film and lifestyle blog know how much I love jewellery and that I will introduce you to a new brand occasionally. Or when it is a boring and lazy Sunday, nothing is on at the cinema and you can just spent ages watching The Big Bang Theory and plan some blog posts? For those days comfy pajamas or bottoms are perfect, so today's OOTD post might be a bit unusual, but I'd like to show you my newest pair of comfy lounge wear* from  Your Dreamcatcher . British brand Your Dreamcatcher creates casual women's leisure and lounge wear. Their collection features vests, T shirts and jewellery which all reflect the concept of 'the dream'. I was kindly sent a pair of joggers to review and got them earlier this month. Whenever I had the chance to wear them, I did, which was literally as soon as I came home. So for the last two weeks I wore them constantly. Whether to snuggle up on the settee, or to keep me warm at night (it does get really ch...
